slow down to speed up
I’ve been notoriously known for taking things fast my entire life.
Eating fast. Wanting to grow up. Falling in love.
It was only been in my 30s where I’ve come to see the value of taking my time. Patience, breathing, and slowing down has been helping me find peace and control in my world.
Lately, I’ve been looking at the world differently through my lens. A lens that was born in the fastest city in the world - New York. These days, it about allowing the pages of my life to turn slowly and let life unfold as it is meant to and that means using my lens in a different way. These images were created using a 1/8 of a second shutter speed to create these blurry effects representing how slowing down can help you see things differently.
As they say, slow and steady wins the race ✨
