something I am proud of this week

It has been a week since the Residency Program at IPG Mediabrands ended and I miss getting to work with the residents! This summer, I got to connect with the future of the Media Industry through the conversations we had and the programming we put together. Connecting with these young minds has been such a rewarding experience. They have shown me gratitude for the perspective I was able to share with them coming from 8 years of Media Buying. But, really - I owe them a HUGE THANK YOU. Thank you for sharing your time with me, asking me questions, and allowing me to share my stories of my days in the Media trenches and what that has taught me about myself. In one way or another, I saw myself in each one of the residents I personally got to connect with. I am so proud of each of them for taking on the challenges they faced in this program. I promised myself that one day I would make the younger version of myself proud. This time with the Residents has helped me show up for that younger version of Robespierre who was so very lost.

To my dear Residents, I miss you! And I can't wait to see what each of you do with your very bright future head! Don't be a stranger and stay in touch! Don't forget about old Robespierre because I will be knocking on your office doors and asking for some advice one day.

This was such a blast to take some headshot portraits of some of the residents during our last week of the program. There is nothing that brings me more joy than seeing someone's confidence shoot up from seeing a great photo of themselves. Look at these shining stars!
